Über 35 Jahre lagen diese Aufnahmen bei einem Zeitzeugen aus dem Umfeld der Band, der sie zufällig beim Aufräumen fand. Mit Erlaubis des Gitaristen kann dieses Konzert nun der breiten Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht werden. Combat 84 spielten damals im 100er Club zusammen mit Vicious Rumors und London Branch! Das Intro ist ein berühmtes Stück aus dem Film „Cabaret“ ,das später von einer namhaften englischen Band noch einmal vertont wurde und jeder kennen wird.... Einige Lieder heissen hier noch anders, als bei den späteren Studioaufnahmen. Dieses Konzert fand schliesslich 1982 statt und die Studioveröffentlichungen kamen ja dann '83 und '84 raus. Alle bekannten Hits von Combat 84 werden hier bereits gespielt! Limitiert auf 500 LPs wobei es 150 in clear lila, 150 in pink und 200 in schwarz gibt.
Over 35 years, these shots were taken by a contemporary witness from the band, who happened to find them cleaning up. With the permission of the guitarist, this concert can now be made available to the general public. Back then, Combat 84 played in the 100er club with Vicious Rumors and London Branch! The intro is a famous piece from the movie "Cabaret", which was later set to music again by a well-known English band and everyone will know .... Some songs here are still different, as in the later studio recordings. This concert finally took place in 1982 and the studio releases came out in '83 and '84.
