Erschienen bei Rebel Records RRCD069 Die stahlharten Jungs von Birthrite aus Pittsburg melden sich zurück. Und diesmal haben sie die umtriebige Band Wellington Arms im Schlepptau, welche bisher nur mit einigen Internet Videos und einer handvoll Demo CD's aufwarten konnten. Allerdings haben sie dadurch schon bei einigen Szene-Guru's einen gewissen Bekanntheitsgrad erreicht. Vor geraumer Zeit verstarb ihr Bassist Pete Mistro, welcher bei den Aufnahmen dieser Split-Single noch zugegen war. Daher ist diese CD auch eine Art Tribute für Pete Mistro. Wellington Arms spielen einen absolut eingängigen, frischen und flotten Skinhead-Rock, ähnlich wie Birthrite. Das sie geprägt von den wilden 80'ern sind, ist nicht von der Hand zu weisen. Und wenn man ehrlich ist hinterlassen sie sogar einen stärkeren Eindruck als Birthrite. Aber alle 4 Lieder beider Bands spiegeln ohne Wenn und Aber den Working Class Skinhead Sound der Ostküste wieder. Einfach, roh, ehrlich und mit dem Treibstoff der heutigen Zeit. Die CD kommt als schön gestaltetes Ecopack mit vielen Fotos der Protagonisten und ihrer Freunde. In diesem Sinne: Hail Pete Mistro - Rest in Peace

The tough guys from Birthrite from Pittsburg are back.
